Suki Chan approaches her work in a way that is incredibly refreshing and inspiring. The way she finds beauty and interesting visuals in places that would usually be overlooked is amazing. The way she has a fixation on light is very unique. I haven’t seen anything like it before.
Suki described her short films as “breathing pictures” which feels so fitting; bridging the gap between photography and videography. It was also really interesting seeing all of the time and effort put in for each shot through the behind the scenes photos.
Overall I feel Like Suki Chan has changed the way I’ll live my life as a creative person; she proves that with the correct approach seemingly uneventful shots can hold a certain power and beauty.
